How to publish a skill
1. Prepare your skill
Ensure your skill folder is complete:
SKILL.mdwith all required sectionsskill.jsonwith accurate metadata- Test with at least 2 compatible AI models
2. Submit for review
Click "Submit a Skill" in the marketplace navigation. You'll be asked to:
- Upload your skill folder as a .zip file
- Provide a short description and screenshots
- Confirm you have the rights to publish
3. Review process
The AiNouns team reviews submissions within 48 hours. We check for:
- Quality and accuracy of instructions
- No harmful, deceptive, or policy-violating content
- Proper attribution for any referenced material
- Functionality across at least one supported AI model
4. Go live
Once approved, your skill appears in the marketplace immediately. You'll receive an email notification and can track installs and ratings from your creator dashboard.
Guidelines
- Skills must be original work or properly licensed adaptations
- Clearly describe what the skill does and its limitations
- Update version numbers when making changes
- Respond to user reviews and maintain your skill
